General | April 10, 2018

On April 13, 2018, Bethune-Cookman University Department of Intercollegiate Athletics will host the 2018 Walk a Mile in Her Shoes (BCU edition). We are asking the men of BCU and Central Florida to strap on a pair of heels and join us as we walk a mile to take a stance to end violence against women. This year's goal is to not only bring awareness, but also to raise $5,000 to support the Harbor House of Central Florida. The walk will begin by the Dr. Mary McLeod Bethune statue, which is located next to the Mary McLeod Bethune Performing Arts Center, and will continue throughout campus for approximately one mile. Men participating in the event are encouraged to wear heels during the event. Women are asked to wear sneakers and show support.

*** All proceeds will be donated to Harbor House of Central Florida***
