NOTES: Bethune-Cookman sends its largest contingent to the NCAA championships in 2009 … This is the fourth consecutive years the Wildcats have had representation at the outdoor championships … the last time B-CU registered points was that 2009 outdoor when Ronnie Ash won the 110 hurdles and Joel Redhead finished 8th in the 200; both would go on to compete in the Olympics … B-CU's men team finished second behind North Carolina A&T at the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference championships despite the 4X400 team setting a school record 3:06.51; that team would finish ahead of North Carolina A&T time-wise at the NCAA East Preliminary, earning a berth by virtue of its third place heat finish … Moore won his heat at the NCAA East Preliminary with a PR of 1:47.89, also a school record … The women's 4X100 has three MEAC champions (Brinson, Nichols, Morrison) in jumps … Morrison was the nation's top-ranked high jumper after the opening week of indoor season; she swept the MEAC Indoor and Outdoor High Jump championships and was 10th at the NCAA Indoors… Brinson won the 2016 NAIA long jump championship while at Mobile (Ala.) University … The women's 4X100 East Preliminary time was B-CU's fastest since 2008 … Jackson ran a PR of 1:49.07 at the NCAA East Preliminary.
