DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. –Jordan Jefferson and
Bailey Robinson each had 13 kills in their respective double-doubles as Bethune-Cookman dropped a 3-1 (23-25,25-22,25-18,27-25) Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference setback to North Carolina A&T Friday night.
Jordan recorded her 39
th career double-double while matching her career high of 28 digs and going over the 900-dig career mark with 922. The junior is within range of becoming the third player in program history with 1,000 digs.
Robinson, a freshman, had 11 digs in her second career double-double.
The Lady Wildcats (5-14 overall, 2-3 MEAC) threatened to extend the match to five sets after taking a 19-14 fourth set lead before the Aggies (7-12,5-0) rallied to remain atop the MEAC's Southern Division.

Jade Smith had a career-high nine kills, a service ace and three blocks for BCU, and senior
Miranda White also had nine kills. Setter
Ryleigh Taylor finished with 39 assists, three kills and two services aces while libero
Shayla Eugene posted 22 digs.
