th career double-double (14 kills, 20 digs) in Bethune-Cookman's 3-1 (25-19,25-22,20-25,25-19) Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference victory over North Carolina Central Sunday in Moore Gymnasium.

Ryleigh Taylor also had a career-high with 41 assists as the Lady Wildcats (6-14 overall, 3-3 MEAC) snapped a three-match losing streak. Senior libero
Shayla Eugene finished with 26 digs, two shy of her career high.
After squandering an early 6-2 third set lead, BCU took charge early in the fourth set, jumping out to early leads of 8-2 and 11-4 en route to a 17-7 advantage. The Eagles (3-16,2-4) closed a 23-14 deficit to five points twice before kills from Jefferson and Skyla Whittaker sealed the deal.
BCU hit .357 and .318 in the first two sets, getting six kills from Robinson in the first and five from Jefferson in the second.
Freshman
Alleah Dallas delivered her strongest effort of the season with nine kills and four blocks, while
Jade Smith added five kills and
Miranda White (nine digs) and
Tynesha Adams four kills each.
BCU resumes its five-match home stand Friday at 6 p.m. against Morgan State.
