Bailey Robinson had 11 kills, and
Jordan Jefferson registered her 41st career double with 11 kills and 24 digs in Bethune-Cookman's 3-2 (25-22,22-25,20-25,25-20,15-6) Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference loss to Morgan State Friday in Moore Gym.
Jade Smith added nine kills and four blocks, while
Miranda White (nine kills) had a career-high 20 digs as the Lady Wildcats (6-15 overall, 3-4 MEAC) slipped to 2-2 in five-set matches this season.
Shayla Eugene and
Ryleigh Taylor (37 assists) Â also were in double-figure digs for BCU with 15 and 13, respectively. BCU finished with a season-high 88 digs.
Zoe McBride led the Morgan State (9-11,3-4) comeback effort with 25 kills on 85 attempts.
Jefferson closed in on 1,000 career digs with her fourth straight 20-dig night. She now needs 34 to become the third player in program history to reach 1,000.
BCU hosts Coppin State Sunday at 1 p.m.
