@BCUvolleyball Falls In Four At MDES

PRINCESS ANNE, Md. – Sterling Williamson had nine kills while Jordan Jefferson finished with eight kills and 18 digs in Bethune-Cookman's 3-1 (25-19,25-20,23-25,25-17) Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference loss at Maryland-Eastern Shore Sunday.

Faith Landreneaux added eight kills and three blocks for the Lady Wildcats (6-19 overall, 3-7 MEAC) in their fifth straight loss.

Shayla Eugene posted 22 digs – her fifth 20-dig match of the season.

BCU overcame early deficits of 4-0 and 5-1 in the third set, taking an 8-7 lead on two Skyla Whitaker service aces.  The Lady Wildcats later used a 5-1 run to pull away from a 17-17 tie and took the set on an Eastern Shore (9-16,4-6) attack error.

The Lady Wildcats return home Friday night to face South Carolina State at 6 p.m. on Senior Night.
