DELAND, Fla. – In a final non-conference meeting before a crucial five-match Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference homestand, Bethune-Cookman dropped a 3-0 (25-14,25-13,25-9) decision to Volusia County rival Stetson Sunday evening in the Edmunds Center.
Eva Deisa had 15 kills and Riley Nieporte 13 as the Hatters (3-11) hit .333 against a shorthanded Lady Wildcat (5-12) squad playing without starters
Jordan Jefferson and
Faith Landreneaux.
Tynesha Adams and freshman
Nadia Pace each had four kills for BCU, while
Bailey Robinson had three kills and freshman

BCU hosts archrival Florida A&M Tuesday night to begin a stretch that sees the Lady Wildcats host North Carolina A&T, North Carolina Central, Morgan State and Coppin State over the next two weeks. North Carolina A&T currently leads the MEAC's Southern Division with a 4-0 mark.
The Lady Wildcats have beaten Florida A&M in the last four Moore Gym meetings. First serve is scheduled for 6 p.m.
