DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – Faith Landreneaux had a season-high 13 kills and a hit a career-high .650 in Bethune-Cookman's 3-1 (25-16,25-16,20-25,25-16) regular season home finale setback to North Florida Tuesday night in Moore Gym.
The junior from Carthage, Tex.,registered the seventh-best single match hitting percentage and program while coming within two kills of her career high of 15 against Jacksonville in 2017.
Landreneaux connected on all four of her third-set attempts while
Skyla Whitaker two services that helped the Lady Wildcats (7-20) extend the match.
Whittaker had one of her best matches of the season, posting season bests of three aces and nine digs.
Freshman
Bailey Robinson added six kills while senior
Shayla Eugene finished with 16 digs and freshman
Alleah Dallas had three blocks.
Solimar Cestero led North Florida (13-15) with 30 kills.
BCU hits the road for its final five matches, starting with Friday's rivalry showdown with Florida A&M. The Lady Wildcats trail North Carolina Central by one match for the Southern Division's second seed at the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference tournament later this month.
