CORAL GABLES, Fla. – Bethune-Cookman's Carlin Berryhill swept the 1500 and 5000 meters and led 1-2 and 1-3 Wildcat finishes this weekend at the University of Miami Hurricane Alumni Invitational.

The freshman clocked times of 3:59.35 to win the 1500 and 15:12.61 to take the 5000. Daniel Kiptoo (3:59.94) was the runner-up in the 1500 and Xavier Walton (15:25.04) third in the 5000.

Berryhill, who won the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference Cross Country individual championship back in the fall, already has the MEAC's fastest time (3:54.35) in the 1500. In the 5000, he's currently seeded fourth with a 15:01.17 registered at the UCF Knights Invite last month.

Kiptoo's 1500 time this weekend moved him from ninth to fourth in the MEAC seeds. Walton remains eighth.

Other highlights from the weekend.

*Sade McCreath-Tardiel clocked her best 100 meter time of the season (11.49).
* Asia Joe was sixth in the 400 (55.01).
* Deja Davis was eighth in the 1500 (4.44.98).
*The 4X400 relay team of Kaliece Pickney, Asia Joe, Najah Whitfield and Theas Shaw finished sixth in 3:51.91
*Quamecha Morrison, who cleared 5-10 in the high jump, battled with Indoor Pentathlon National Champion Michelle Atherly early before finishing fifth in the heptathlon. Dana Roberts was seventh and Thea Shaw eighth.
* Jordan Williams was sixth in the 400 meters (46.58)
*Cameron Berryhill (1:54.55) and DeAndre Petty (1:55.41) were 5-6 in the 800.
* Randy Green, Curtis Thomas, Mario Watson and Williams combined for a fifth place finish in the 4X100 relay (40.93)
*Isiah Galloway was fifth in the high jump (6'4 ¾").
*Jeremiah Peters was sixth in the discus (151'9")
*Keno Tate seventh in the hammer (152'10).
*Marc McCoy third in the decathlon.

BCU concludes its Outdoor regular season at the Tom Jones Memorial Classic April 26-27 at the University of Florida.
