Davis, Morrison, Nichols Post @BCUTrackXC wins At UNF

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Deja Davis, Quamecha Morrison and Monae Nichols were event winners at the UNF Invitational this weekend.

Davis' 5000 meters winning time of 17:44.52 bested Florida State's Fatema Jaffer by six seconds and was 18 seconds faster than Notre Dame's Madison Ronzone. The time is also the fastest in the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference so far this season.

Morrison took the high jump (5'7 3/4") and Nichols the long jump (19'10 ¾").  Nichols' jump at last week's Embry-Riddle Spikes Classic is still the 17th best in the nation.

Bursting onto the national scene this weekend was senior Sade McCreath-Tardiel, who clocked an 11.62 100 meter dash that's the nation's 55th fastest.

Four other BCU performers moved atop the MEAC standings: BCU travels to Miami Friday and Saturday for the Hurricane Alumni Invitational.
