Nine Numbers To Consider About @BCUWBB

Preseason Practice Begins Wednesday At 8 a.m

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla.  -- As Bethune-Cookman opens preseason practice Wednesday morning at 8 a.m. here a few numbers to consider as the Lady WIldcats prepare for the 2020-21 campaign.

+3  Bethune-Cookman's rebounding margin last season was the best in the Vanessa Blair-Lewis era and the best at Bethune-Cookman since 2004.
The number of consecutive 20-win seasons the Lady Wildcats will attempt to post at the conclusion of this campaign. B-CU is 89-35 over the past four seasons.
9  Just like the football team, the number of consecutive victories the Lady Wildcats have posted against Florida A&M.
53  The number of home victories B-CU has posted the past five seasons. B-CU has had 10 home wins each of the past five years and is 53-12 (.815) overall.
196 Blair-Lewis recorded her 300th overall coaching victory last December against Appalachian State. Another milestone is within reach as she is four victories from her 200th coaching victory at B-CU.
229 Points senior Amaya Scott needs to become the 13th recorded 1,000 point scorer in program history.
.274 The Lady Wildcats' 3FG defense percentage over the past four years. B-CU finished second in the nation in that category last year and 2016-2017.
31-6  B-CU's record when Scott has scored double figures the past three years.
68.1 The Lady Wildcats' Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference leading scoring average last season, of which 49.0 is returning. That scoring average was also the best for B-CU in the Blair-Lewis era.
