Marcus Sundlof made his return to action a memorable one Tuesday by taking individual honors at the Titan Invitational held on the Suntree Country Club Classic course.

The senior from Sweden shot a three-round total of 209 – seven under par – to outdistance Keiser's Carl Didrik M. Fosaas by four strokes. Sundloff built upon his second round lead by closing out the 54 hole event with a bogey-free round of 68.
"Yesterday I didn't really hit the ball that well but I putted and hit wedges really close," Sundlof said. "Today my long game was better and I had a lot of birdie opportunities and some drops and did not make any bogeys."
Sundlof did not play during the winter portion of the season due to injury.
"Marcus and I had a talk about him being a senior and being a leader," said BCU Interim Head Coach Robert "Tony" O'Neal. Today he set the example of what the Wildcat program is expecting from all of the players.
"Marcus led the way and the team responded, getting better every round," O'Neal added. "He is phenomenal, I am just so happy for him I almost jumped out of my skin on the final hole -- A bogey free round! There is more to come with his work ethic."
With three new players, the Wildcats finished 10
th in the 14-team field with a three-day score of 920. Tuesday's final round of 298 was an 18-shot improvement over the opening round and eight shots better than the second."
"I was very excited to see us get better as the tournament progressed," O'Neal said. "If we continue to work hard, we will have a succesful spring."
