1967 Wins State Punt, Pass and Kick competition
1975-79 Â Bethune-Cookman playing days; still holds records for punting yards in a season (2,688 in 1978) and career (8,198)
1979: Signs free agent contract with Green Bay Packers

1980: Elects not to sign with Oakland Raiders to end football playing career.
1991 Becomes Bethune-Cookman's Athletic Director; Youngest D-1 AD in NCAA
1994 Named First African-American Chair of NCAA Baseball Rules Committee
1995 Women's Cross Country wins first of two MEAC championships (1998)
1996 Baseball Wins 2nd MEAC Championships and begins run of 17 championships in 20 years
1997 Women's Indoor Track wins first of two straight MEAC titles
