DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – Bethune-Cookman University Women's Basketball Head Coach Janell Crayton has announced her coaching staff for her inaugural 2021-2022 season.

Britney Snowden, Stephan Walton and Sherrie Tucker will join the Lady Wildcat program as it prepares for its first season as a member of the Southwestern Athletic Conference.

"I could not be more excited about this staff," Crayton said. "Every single one comes with great energy, great knowledge, and great experience. I am lucky to have them here at Bethune-Cookman with me and so is the team. They will be a great asset to the players the institution, and the community at large. We can't wait to get started and begin our quest for Bethune-Cookman's first SWAC championship."

Snowden comes to B-CU from Eastern Tennessee State. A former ETSU standout, Snowden first served as a graduate assistant and then an assistant coach in 2020-21.

Walton worked alongside Crayton at Kennesaw State last year after spending five seasons at Lynn University as an assistant coach. He played his college ball at the University of Manitoba, where he was team captain and a two-time MVP.

Tucker, who will serve as recruiting coordinator, has been an assistant at Longwood (Va.) and at Texas A&M Corpus Christi, where she helped the Islanders take their first ever Southland Conference regular season championship. She was a two-time Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference Player of The Year and led the Eagles to a pair of NCAA tournament appearances in 2005 and 2006. Tucker played professionally in Luxembourg for two years.

Bethune-Cookman returns to action this year after opting out of 2020-21 due to COVID-19.
