MONTGOMERY, Ala. – Bethune-Cookman started one streak and ended another with three victories at the Southwestern Athletic Conference pod 1 at Alabama State.
The Wildcats (3-15 overall, 3-3 SWAC) snapped a 15-match losing streak with the 3-0 victories over Alcorn State and Southern and a 3-1 decision over Texas Southern.

Mecca Freeman's nine kills led a balanced scoring attack as the Wildcats started off the weekend by sweeping Alcorn State 25-22,25-21,25-17.
Kytal Price had eight kills,
Alleah Dallas seven and
Jasmine Moore and
Jaedyn Newman six apiece.
Alisha Callender posted 25 assists, six digs and two blocks.
Adriana Marrero had 16 digs.
B-CU 3, SOUTHERN 0
Moore had 12 kills and hit .550 as the Wildcats concluded Sunday with a 25-14, 25-18, 25-14 victory.
Dallas posted eight kills and four blocks. Price added seven kills.
Callender finished with 26 assists and two service aces.
Freeman had 11 digs.
B-CU 3, TEXAS SOUTHERN 1
Freeman had 16 kills and 13 digs, and Moore 15 kills as the Wildcats recovered from dropping the first set for the 18-25,25-22,25-20,25-14 victory.
Freeman also had three blocks. Dallas had six kills and four blocks.
Callender finished with 40 assists, nine digs and three blocks.
Marrero led the Wildcats with 14 digs while
Jacynta Williams added 13.
The Wildcats continue their road trip this weekend at Mississippi Valley State Friday and Jackson State Sunday.
