DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – Wide receiver Tink Boyd has been named SWAC Newcomer of the Week for the week of Oct. 31 - Nov. 6, the conference office announced Monday.

Graduate Wide Receiver Tink Boyd had an excellent day for the B-CU receiving crew as the Wildcats took down Mississippi Valley State for their second win of the season Thursday night on ESPNU. The Richmond, Va. native hauled in four passes for 76 yards and a pair of scores, including a 41-yard strike to put B-CU on the board on trick play. He becomes the second Wildcat with multiple touchdowns in a game this season. 

Boyd becomes the first Wildcat to take home weekly honors this season.
