BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Bethune-Cookman quarterback Timmy McClain was named Co-Offensive Player of the Week by the Southwestern Athletic Conference, the league office announced Tuesday. This is his first weekly honor the season.

McClain is coming off a legendary performance against Florida A&M in the Florida Blue Florida Classic. He completed 22 of 34 passes for 274 yards and four touchdown passes. His touchdown pass to Josh Evans with :22 seconds gave the Wildcats a dramatic come-from-behind win 38-34, endearing himself to the Wildcat faithful forever.
