DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – For the second time this season, Bethune-Cookman and Florida A&M will square off in Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) Volleyball as the Wildcats put their eight-match winning streak on the line against the visiting Rattlers on Friday, Nov. 8, at 6 p.m., inside Richard V. Moore Gymnasium.

â–ª Bethune-Cookman is riding a school record eight-match winning streak.
â–ª The Wildcats are just two matches out of first place in the SWAC behind Florida A&M, as the Cats sit in second place.
â–ª B-CU is second in the league in opponent hitting percentage as the Cats are holding their opposition to just .157 on the campaign.
â–ª The Cats top the SWAC in blocks by almost 40, leading the way with 247.5 blocks as a unit.
â–ª Graduate middle blocker
Ktyal Price tops the SWAC with a .366 hitting percentage. Senior middle blocker
Niara Hightower is third in the league (.305).
â–ª In reverse, Hightower is atop the league in blocks (115), while Price is third in that department with 82 blocks.

â–ª In a series that dates back to 1989, Florida A&M leads the series by a count of 63-6.
â–ª Head Coach Brittany Williams is 5-13 all-time against FAMU.
â–ª Bethune-Cookman's last win over the Rattlers came courtesy a 3-1 decision in Tallahassee on Nov. 8, 2019.
â–ª The first win for the Wildcats over FAMU came in 2014, beginning a stretch of three consecutive wins for the Cats over their in-state foe.
â–ª The Rattlers have won the last eight in the series, respectfully.

SCOUTING THE RATTLERS
â–ª Florida A&M comes into Wednesday evening's clash with a 21-6 overall record, while sporting a perfect 13-0 mark in league play and sitting atop the SWAC standings.
â–ª The Rattlers have won four consecutive matches against opponents from Arkansas-Pine Bluff, Grambling State, Alabama State and Alabama A&M, respectively. In fact, they have won 14 of their last 15, with the lone setback coming to North Florida.
â–ª Three different players are in the top 10 of the league in hitting percentage, led by Farah Farooq (.363) in second place.
▪ Brooke Lynn Watts is in three top 10 SWAC categories – service aces (34), kills (300) and hitting percentage (.259).
â–ª Alexandra Koleva sets FAMU and leads the pack with 513 assists on the season.
â–ª Isis Williams is second in the league for blocks with an average of 1.18 blocks per set, and teammate Kalia Todd is fifth with a 1.08 average.
