Birmingham, Ala. - Bethune-Cookman Track & Field will begin their 2024-25 season, Friday at the Birmingham Crossplex in Birmingham, Alabama. The event will begin at 8:30 a.m. on December 6th.

The mission of the Birmingham CrossPlex is to provide a facility for athletes to compete at the highest possible level of competition for Track & Field, Swimming & Diving, Volleyball and more. The CrossPlex strives to stimulate economic growth to the City of Birmingham through events and corporate partnerships.

Garon Jackson continues his second season as BCU's director of track & field and will look for positive results following an effective cross country fall season.
Last season, the BCU men finished 4th overall in the SWAC Indoor Championship while the women finished 11th.
In Birmingham, the Wildcats will compete in the shot put, the weight throw, the long jump, the triple jump, and the high jump.
The Wildcats will next compete on January 11 in Columbia, South Carolina at the Gamecock Opener.
