DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. - Bethune-Cookman Football and head coach Raymond Woodie Jr. welcomes in the next wave of Wildcats as he announces the 2024 B-CU National Signing Day Class. The Wildcats will look to continue their ascent after a 3-8 season in 2023, with Coach Woodie bringing in his first signing class as B-CU Head Coach.  Wildcat fans can join Woodie and B-CU play-by-play voice Michael Truilo for a special National Signing Day Show live at 7 p.m. EST to recap the events of the day. The show will be broadcast live on YouTube.com/CatEyeNetwork.

Four-year varsity letterwinner at St. Thomas Aquinas, starting several games as a freshman along the offensive line in 2020 for the team that went 8-1 en route to a FHSAA Class 7-A state title… Had three pancake blocks as a center and guard on the 2023 season… A member of four consecutive state title winners for the Raiders… Team won the FHSAA 3M championship in 2023… Blocked for quarterback Andrew Indorf as he threw for 2,273 yards and 28 touchdowns for an average of 151.5 per game through the air in his senior season… Blocked for the Raiders ground game that accumulated 2,762 yards on 358 carries and 42 touchdowns across the campaign… Team's top rusher was senior Jordan Lyle with 1,376 yards on 130 carries with eight (8) games of 100 yards or better and 21 touchdowns… Finished his prep career with more than 15 pancake blocks and double-digit downfield blocks…

Powered Miami Norland High to a 14-1 record as a senior, including a perfect 4-0 mark in district play in 2023… Prepped under Head Coach Daryle Heidelburg… Played as an offensive tackle for the Vikings as a senior… Blocked for quarterbacks Ennio Yapoor and Kai Moore across his senior campaign… Also paved the way for running backs Roger Adam and Juan Rodriguez… Yapoor passed for 4,270 yards and 30 touchdowns across the 2023 campaign for the Vikings… Meanwhile, running back Rodriguez accumulated 1,179 yards on the ground with 11 touchdowns… Clarke was instrumental in blocking for the Vikings to rack up 182.3 yards per game on the ground, adding 37 touchdowns via the ground game…

Played his freshman season at Arizona State before ultimately deciding to transfer to Bethune-Cookman… did not play any games while participating with the scout team and redshirting to retain eligibility… Had previously committed to Florida before arriving to Arizona State under Head Coach Kenny Dillingham… Ranked as high as a three-star safety out of Dunbar High School by 247Sports… The No. 71 safety prospect and No. 872 overall nationally in the 2023 recruiting class… In 2021, Russ notched 32 tackles and three interceptions, leading Dunbar to a 9-1 finish and a 6A district title… Hauled in 20 receptions for 304 yards and three touchdowns as a receiver… Picked up 41 tackles, three interceptions and eight pass breakups in 2020 for a Tigers team that went 8-3 during his sophomore season…
