BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Sthefany Carvalho has been named SWAC Defensive Player of the Week for the fourth time this season, was announced Tuesday from the conference office in Birmingham, Ala. 
 
Sthefany Carvalho notches her fifth weekly honor of her B-CU career - fourth defensive player of the week - after most recently being named SWAC Defensive Player of the Week on Sept. 17.
 
Sthefany Carvalho was outstanding again for the Wildcats defensively as they split their final home weekend with a win over AAMU and a five-set loss to Alabama State. She recorded a team-high 42 digs along with 10 assists.
 
The Wildcats return to the court on Friday, November 7 as they take on Florida A&M at 6 p.m in Tallahassee.
