BIRMINGHAM - Bethune-Cookman track & field begins the 2025-26 indoor season at the Birmingham Crossplex for the Birmingham Indoor Icebreaker. The event begins at 9:00 a.m. EST on Friday as the Wildcats look to put together a strong opening performance.

Last season, the Wildcats had eleven men and three women finish in the top ten of their respective events in Birmingham.
Victor Kibet broke the program record with an 8:35.19 time in the 300 m, while
Sha'Nard Walker finished first in the 200 m.

The opening meet of the season's field events include weight throw, shot put, long jump, triple jump, pole vault, and high jump. The track events include 60 m, 200 m, 300 m, 400 m, 1000 m, 3000 m, and 1 mile. The school's competing include Alabama A&M, Alabama State, and Alcorn State among several others.Â
