BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – For the second time this spring,
Katie Robinson has been named Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) Women's Golfer of the Week announced Wednesday afternoon by the league office from its headquarters in Birmingham, Alabama.
Most recently during the Iron Invitational hosted by East Carolina in Greenville, North Carolina,
Katie Robinson finished tied for 85th in the field after leading the Cats through three rounds of play. The American Canyon, California native opened with an 85 before bouncing back to record an 81 in her second round. She closed with another 85 on the final day of the 54-hole event.
Currently, Robinson, a senior, leads the Cats with an 80.86 average, using a +9 relative to par score as well.
Bethune-Cookman next competes in the SWAC Championships set for April 14-16 at Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail at Oxmoor Valley in Birmingham, Alabama.
