GAINESVILLE, Fla. - The Wildcats will return to Gainesville Friday and Saturday for the Alachua County Sports and Event Center Invitational and Multi-Event. The first events will take place on Friday and Saturday, with the first events beginning at 9 a.m.

Shanard Walker continued his strong start to indoor season to highlight the weekend for the weekend for the Wildcats at the Jimmy Carnes Invitational, Friday at the Alachua County Events Center.
Walker's top finish came in the 400m, where he ran a second-place 47.79. He also earned a sixth-place finish in the 200m with a time of 21.40.
Ethan Sharpe followed close behind Walker with a seventh-place and fifth-place finish in the 200m and 400m, respectively.
On the women's side
Kasie Ugeh was solid in the shot put with a seventh-place, 13.25m finish.
On the track,
Haely Grant earned a seventh-place finish in the 400m at 57.03.
