DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. - Madison Holden of B-CU Women's Basketball and Doctor Bradley of B-CU Men's Basketball have been named Wildcats of the Week for the week of January 19-25.

Holden exploded for the Wildcats on Saturday in their narrow loss to Jackson State. The Junior guard scored 20 points, a new season-high and the team's leading scorer by 9 points. In the 1st half alone, she had 8 of the total 15 points scored by B-CU. Other season-high's included field goal attempts and makes, 14 and 9, respectively.

Moore Gymnasium was electric in a matchup for 1st place against SWAC rival Jackson State, under the ESPNU national spotlight. Doctor Bradley exuded the energy, recording a double-double (22 points, 10 rebounds). Not only was he efficient offensively, defensively he contributed 5 steals and 2 blocks. He recorded a season-high in all major stat categories.

Each week, The Bethune-Cookman Office of Athletic Communications recognizes one male and one female student-athlete through the Wildcats of the Week award.

This award recognizes student-athletes who have excelled in competition, in the classroom, and in the community over the past week, exemplifying the Championship Culture of Wildcat Athletics.
