DELAND, Fla. - B-CU tennis returns to DeLand for the final time this season as they rematch the Stetson Hatters at the Mandy Stoll Tennis Center. They will then turn their attention to the St. John's Red Storm at the Crotty Tennis Complex in Daytona Beach.

Bethune-Cookman defeated UMary 5-2 in Daytona Beach.
Doubles action was tightly contested, with B-CU's top tandem of
Rosalida Asumwa and
Maria Romero Vargas picking up the narrow 6-4 victory over UMary's top unit.
The Marauders were able to take the second match, as the Anna and Josie Sueflohn held on for the 7-5 victory over
Zahara El-Zein and
Jalayah Shaw.
UMary was awarded the doubles point as B-CU did not deploy a third doubles tandem.
Singles play was dominated by the Wildcats. At No. 1,
Jalayah Shaw defeated Natalie Jorge Magarzo, 6-2, 6-3, setting the tone for the rest of the team.
None of the other matches went further than two sets, as B-CU finished off its second win of the season.
Stetson
The Stetson Hatters are off to a 4-4 start this season. They are coming off a dominant 7-0 win over Eastern Michigan Monday morning.
Anastasija Adeikyte has led the way for the Hatters. She has lost just once this season in singles and doubles, both to #39 UCF.
St. John's
The Red Storm are 8-3 on the year and are currently on a three-game winning streak. They are 2-0 in Big East play, with victories over UConn and Providence.
Sandra Dzhambazov is a player to watch for St. John's. She is currently on a 11-duel winning streak, and has only lost once this season.
