ORLANDO, Fla. - Outdoor season is officially underway for B-CU Track & Field as the Wildcats finished up their first event of the season, Friday and Saturday in Orlando on the campus of UCF.

Michael Carter was the top finisher in the field for B-CU, taking fourth place in the long jump with a 7.46m jump. Amarrion Grant finished close behind in seventh with a 7.33m jump

on the track, it was Sha'Nard Walker with a fourth-place finish of his own on a 46.80 in the 400 meter. Walker also finished tenth in the 300 meter with a 21.00. 

On the women's side, it was Kavay Johnson's 17-th place finish in the 400 meter hurdles that topped the finishes for B-CU. She recorded a time of 1:03.41. 

The 4x400 relay team of Betina Jean, Zion Harvey, Kavay Johnson, and Haely Grant finished seventh with a time of 3:46.37. 

B-CU returns to the track on Friday, March 27 for the Hurricane Collegiate Invitational in Coral Gables.
