DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – The Rattlers held Bethune-Cookman to just five runs during Saturday's double-header as FAMU won both games to complete the series sweep at Sunnyland Park.
Game 1: FAMU 8, B-CU 2

The Rattlers extended the advantage in the fourth inning. After a double and a sacrifice bunt moved a runner into scoring position, Braxtyn Battle hit a three-run homer to extend the lead to 5-0.
Bethune-Cookman (10-23, 6-5 SWAC) got on the board in the fifth. A leadoff single followed by a stolen base gave way for an RBI double by Arianna Reynolds that brought the Wildcats within 5-1.
Florida A&M answered in the sixth inning, capitalizing on a defensive error. After a runner reached on a miscue and a walk extended the inning, a three-run home run from Amari Brown stretched the lead to 8-1.
