Alabama A&M (3-7) took the doubles point, as its second unit of Alecia Owegi and Nardine Salem took down
Jalayah Shaw and
Zahara El-Zein 6-3. The Bulldogs held the slight edge in the battle of the number ones, but the duel went unfinished. AAMU was awarded victory in the third match via forfeit.
In singles play, the top three duels went unfinished, while Salem and Melissa Mwakha picked up wins over
Rosalida Asumwa and
Taylor O'Neal. The final point was also forfeited to the Bulldogs.
