Bethune-Cookman (4-10, 2-5) overwhelmed Mississippi Valley State (0-8, 0-6) in doubles action.
Madison Molock and Zaraha El-Zein rolled to a 6-0 victory against the Delta Devils' second unit, which ultimately secured the point for B-CU.
In singles, El-Zein,
Jalayah Shaw, and
Rosalida Asumwa recorded two set victories without dropping a single point, earning the Wildcats' three more points for the match victory.
The victory gave B-CU its first SWAC win of the season
The Rattlers are 4-9 on the year and 3-3 in conference play. They are currently on a three-game losing skid which includes losses to Southern, Alabama A&M, and Jackson State.
FAMU returns 2025 All-SWAC performer Reagan Harris, who has seen time at the second and third spot. Graduate transfer Veronica Rodriguez is the team's number one.
Florida A&M has been excellent in doubles play, having lost just one doubles point in SWAC play.
