TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – The Wildcats lost a 5-0 decision to Florida A&M on Easter Sunday at the Althea Gibson Tennis Complex.
Florida A&M (5-9, 4-3) grabbed the early edge in the doubles point, with the team's second and third units getting the job done 6-4 and 6-3.
Rosalida Asumwa and
Maria Romero Vargas won 6-2 for Bethune-Cookman (4-11, 2-6) against FAMU's number one.
In singles, Vanessa Rodriguez, Reagan Harris, Luiza Eidelvine, and Alyynah Thomas grabbed wins for the Rattlers to take the match victory. Asumwa was leading her duel 1-0 before it went unfinished.
