Daytona Beach, Fla. - The Bethune-Cookman University Cheerleading team is set to hold their annual interest meeting on January 10, 2008 when students return to campus. If you are interested in becoming a member of the cheerleading squad for the Wildcats, then make sure to be in attendance.

The cheerleading team at Bethune-Cookman University is in attendance at all home/away football games, as well as home basketball games for the women and men's teams of the Wildcats.

The meeting is scheduled to be held at 6 p.m. in Room 204 at Moore Gymnasium. The requirements include having good academic standings at B-CU, as well as no disciplinary infractions and at least three (3) years of cheer experience.

And don't forget that males interested in cheering should attend as well. B-CU has always had a strong background in male cheerleading.

There will also be a clinic held on Jan. 12 from 9 a.m. through 1 p.m. Official tryouts will begin at 2:15 pm at Moore Gymnasium.
