DAYTONA BEACH, FLA. - Reese Wilson B-CU Women's Golf and
Stephen Sparrow Jr. of B-CU Football have been named Wildcats of the Week for the week of September , 2025.
Reese Wilson, a senior transfer from Butler, emerged as the Wildcats top performer at the Bridgestone HBCU Inviational, held at TPC Sugarloaf in Duluth, Ga. She carded rounds of 76-79-73 to finish tied for seventh overall at 228 (+12). Wilson's steady play throughout the tournament, highlighted by her strong closing round of 73 – one of the best final-round scores among Wildcats competitors – showcased the veteran leadership the team will rely upon this season. B-CU took fifth overall in the season-opening event.
Stephen Sparrow Jr. led the B-CU defense in its toughest challenge in program history as the Wildcats faced off with the nation's fifth-ranked team, Miami, at Hard Rock Stadium. Sparrow finished the game with a team-high nine tackles, including B-CU's first sack of the season sack in Saturday's game. He has led the team in total tackles through two games this season.
