B-CU's volleyball team got back to its winning ways with a straight set 3-0 victory Saturday at Savannah State. Bethune-Cookman (2-9) won 25-14, 29-27, 25-23 over the Tigers and will take the momentum in Tuesday's home match vs. Stetson (7 p.m.).

Through 11 matches, B-CU's stats leaders  are Sr. Reina Carson (Albuquerque, N.M) and Jr. Chelle Ticeson (Seattle, Wash.) with 69 kills each. Ticeson's .353 hitting percentage (69-150) ranks among the MEAC leaders in 2008.

Julie Gibson (So. Espanola, N.M.) is B-CU's assists leader with 155 (5.54 game) and Ticeson leads with 20 blocks. Jr. Shakea Moore-Hagins (Orlando, Fla.) is the team dig leader with 78 overall (3.25 game).
