VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. - With bowling season just around the corner, starting up for B-CU on November 5 at the NJ Jamboree, the Lady Wildcats are looking to move up in the standings this season. In the second year of the new term of Head Coach Tony O'Neal, the ladies have already made some moves, picked second in the MEAC Southern division in the preseason predicted order of finish, officials from the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference announced.
Though the Lady Wildcats earned no spots on the preseason All-MEAC team, they are building around an experienced core, led by seniors Jasmin Sutherland and Demara Marbra. Coaches O'Neal put in the work recruiting and the team sports two new faces this season, as Taneisha Sweetenburg (West Palm, Fla.) join the squad.
