FOREST PARK, Ga. – Samantha Ford's tenth place finish highlighted Bethune-Cookman bowling's 2020 finale as the Lady Wildcats finished 12
th at the TNBA/HBCU Invitational.
Ford averaged 191.6 in her five traditional games, with a high of 209. It was her fourth top ten finish of the season.
Ashley Beckley (187.4) finished 14
th followed by
Bethany Gray-Shealey (164.2) in 42
nd ,
Shekinah Staten (108.8) in 68
th and
Faith Calvin (102.4) in 72nd.

BCU had a combined total of 7,308 pins during Baker and Traditional play, earning a 12 seed in the 16-team championship round. The Lady Wildcats were 2-8 in head-to-head play.
Virginia State downed the Lady Wildcats 4-1 in the first round of Sunday's championship bracket, but BCU rebounded with a 4-2 win over Virginia Union before dropping a 4-1 decision in a rematch with Virginia State.
"It was a great weekend to end the season," said BCU Head Coach
Chelsea Gilliam. "There was some tough competition this weekend and we fought hard all the way to the end. The team has been working hard all year and you could see those improvements this weekend We will continue to work hard during the off season and come back even stronger next year."
