Bethune-Cookman Baseball will be holding a walk-on/tryout meeting at 3:00 p.m., September 6th in the Bethune-Cookman Athletics Department for anyone interested in trying out for a walk-on spot with B-CU baseball.
Those interested in walking-on must be in attendance for the meeting and must follow and complete the tryout procedures listed below:
Before the meeting on September 6th, you must obtain a copy of your physical (physical must be within the past 6 months), Sickle Cell test results, and proof of insurance. Also you will need to have registered with the NCAA clearinghouse and have your NCAA ID number.
- Complete the first page of the Bethune-Cookman Prospective Student-Athlete Walk-On Authorization Form on your own
- Have Head Coach Jason Beverlin Sign off on front page
- Provide Cookman ID number and NCAA ID number to Coach Smith
- Prospect will drop off the signed form to the Bethune-Cookman Office of Compliance
- From Bethune-Cookman Compliance, the form will be forwarded to the office of Academic Services to declare your eligibility.
- The document will then be returned to Office of Compliance and you will be notified to pick the document up.
- Once notified you must take the form to the Head Athletic Trainer: You must present a copy of your physical (physical must be within the past 6 months), Sickle Cell test results, and proof of insurance.
