Torres was previoulsy one of 335 draft-eligible prospects selected to attend the annual MLD Fraft Combine, featuring 195 collegiate players and 140 high school standouts from across the country.
A native of St. Cloud, Florida, Torres concluded a decorated four-year career with the Wildcats as one of the most accomplished relievers in program history. During his time in Maroon and Gold, he earned Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) Relief Pitcher of the Year honors in 2024 and was selected to the All-SWAC Second Team on two occasions.
Torres emerged as a cornerstone of the Bethune-Cookman pitching staff throughout his career, serving in both late-inning and high-leverage situations while helping the Wildcats establish themselves among the top programs in the SWAC.
