TOWSON, Md. – The Lady Wildcats travel north to take on the last of the season's non-conference tournaments as they make the final preparations to finish in top form as the season winds down. B-CU travels this weekend to the ninth annual Morgan State Invitational at AMF Towson Lanes.
Continuing the trend of the Lady Wildcats' schedule, B-CU will take on a large, high-quality field, with ten of the 23 teams present being in the top 20, including three of the top five. It will be a tournament that, without question, will bring outstanding competition to the Lady Wildcats.
After showing some uncharacteristic inconsistency in the last tournament, B-CU is looking to get back on track as they take on their eighth event of the season, and last non-conference event before heading back to conference play in the friendly confines of their home facility, Ormond Lanes, March 3-4.
The Lady Wildcats (41-39) are led on the lanes by junior Staci Hilliard with a 186.1 average and high game of 244, but B-CU has seen recent surges by Felicia Baker (174.6, 222 high) and Rachel Moore (168.6, 210 high), who both shined at last week's Capital Classic in Dover, Del.
