The Wildcats (11-28) have won eight of their last ten games, most recently a three-game sweep of South Carolina State.
B-CU has one home non-conference game remaining next Wednesday against UCF.
WILDCAT UPDATE: Senior shortstop Aurelia Gamch hit .571 (8-14) in the Wildcats' four games last week. She improved her average from .277 to .311, second-best on the team behind Michelle Banuelos-Smith's .321. Leadoff hitter Calesha Shelley is tied with Norfolk State's Morgan Boyd atop the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference with 19 stolen bases.
ABOUT NORTH FLORIDA: The Ospreys (29-11) are ranked 53rd in the latest NCAA RPI index and are currently third in the Atlantic Sun Conference. Danica Mandarano leads the offense with a .339 average, while pitcher Kaylie Wallace in 19th in the nation with her ERA of 1.32.
North Florida won the first meeting this season 5-3 at the Panhandle Invitational on opening weekend.
