FUN FACTS
• With Dover, Delaware serving as the racing home of the "north" at Dover Downs, Bethune-Cookman's home is Daytona Beach, Florida – the home of racing in the "south" with Daytona International Speedway.
• Bethune-Cookman has played Delaware State eight times for Homecoming in Daytona Beach, the most of any other team in the entire MEAC.
• Bethune-Cookman's second-ever Thursday night football game on ESPNU took place in Dover, Delaware during the 2007 season. That same year, DSU won the MEAC title.

A WIN OVER DELAWARE STATE WOULD...
• Give Bethune-Cookman a sixth consecutive win over the Hornets.
• Allow the Wildcats their second straight win of the year, and the first at home in 2016.
• Extend the B-CU Homecoming winning streak to seven games, dating back to 2010.
• Allow Wildcats' head coach Terry Sims to collect his 11th victory in charge of the Maroon and Gold.
• Give Bethune-Cookman its 483rd all-time win in school history.

SERIES NOTES...
• Delaware State leads the all-time series against Bethune-Cookman, 20-18.
• Bethune-Cookman has won five consecutive games against the Hornets dating back to 2009.
• The Cats were winless in nine consecutive games against the Hornets from 1989 through 1997.
• A win against the Hornets would allow B-CU its longest win streak against the Hornets which was previously five games from 2000-04.

NO DRIVE-THRU…
• Through six (6) games this season, the Bethune-Cookman defense has not allowed a score on the opposition's opening drive.

THE INJURY BUG…
• According to Head Coach Terry Sims, he has never has a season in which injuries have struck a team he coached in history.
• In all, a total of 12 original starters from the beginning of the season have missed time due to injury, including two season-ending injuries in the form of running back Michael Jones and junior quarterback Anthony Cruz. Both players are expected to petition for and receive a medical hardship waiver following the season.
• Cruz suffered a fractured wrist in the first half of a game at Savannah State earlier this year.

WHERE THERE'S A JA"WILL", THERE'S A WAY
• Wide receiver Jawill Davis extended his streak of games with at least one reception to 17 a week against MEAC defending co-champion North Carolina A&T. Davis has caught at least one pass since the start of the 2015 season at Miami (Fla.), in his hometown of Miami.
