After blocking an NCAA-best 13 shots over a two-game span, Stetson junior forward Sarah Sagerer was named ASUN Conference Player of the Week, the league announced on Monday.
Sagerer blocked five shots in Stetson's season-opening win over Webber on Friday, then tied a school single-game record with eight blocked shots in Saturday's victory over Valparaiso. She became just the fourth player in school history to record eight blocked shots in a game. Her 13 blocks leads the NCAA following the first weekend of games.
