HEAD COACH VANESSA BLAIR LEWIS

"We couldn't let the Maryland Eastern Shore loss roll over into this one. Not only we were tied with Norfolk State for second place,
we didn't play well here last year, so this was a redemption game."

"We hadn't handled Norfolk State's press well in the past, so it was big getting the ball to Ashanti in the middle. We emphasized to her on focusing on getting the "and one""

"We wanted to shoot 75 percent from the line."

"We knew first five minutes of the third quarter would be big."

ASHANTI HUNT

"Good things happen when you drive to the hole. I tried to do what I do best. It helped create shots for my teammates."

"I had to do what my team needed me to do -- get buckets."
