Starting Five

1 For the first time in program history, BCU was predicted to finish first in the Mid-Eastern
Athletic Conference by major publications and the conference's head coaches and sports information directors
2 BCU finished second nationally in rebounding average behind North Carolina. The 42.1 average and 1346 total marks set single-season
Wildcat records
3 BCU returns three members of its final 2018 starting five in Soufi Diakite, Shawntrez Davis, and Isaiah Bailey. Malik Maitland started the first 21 games of the year before seeing his season cut short due to injury
4 The Wildcats set new program records in four major offensive categories last season- points, rebounds, assists, and free throws
5 The last number you would have if you added the digits of BCU's miles traveled this season. The Wildcats are set to embark on 17,926 miles starting with a road trip to DePaul this week

With props to Eric Beovich of Middle Tennessee State, it was determined that BCU's roster of four coaches, Ridder, Clapacs, and the Taylors, make up the youngest coaching staff in Division 1 basketball. The last coach 32 years-old or under to win a conference regular season title in his first year was then 31 year-old Brad Stevens of Butler in 2008. The following is a breakdown of the youngest staffs in Division 1.
