DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. -- Bethune-Cookman swept the Mid-Eastern Athletic Women's Tennis honors this week as Matea Roki was named Player Of The Week and Rehaana Butt was named Rookie of the Week, it was announced today (February 28, 2018).
 
Roki, a senior from Toronto, Ontario won her singles match in the No. 1 position against Oakland's Dasha Artamonova, 6-1, 6-2, before teaming with Butt for a 6-4 doubles win over Artamonova and Sofia Borcut, also in the No. 1 spot.
 
Butt, a freshman from Palm Harbor, Fla. defeated Oakland's Alexandra Whali 6-1, 6-2 in the No. 2 singles position, on top of her doubles victory alongside Roki. This is her second weekly honor of the season.
 
Bethune-Cookman (0-4) returns to action Wednesday, March 7 at home against Longwood.
