DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. -- Bethune-Cookman's
Quamecha Morrison earned Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference Women's Field Performer of the Week honors, it was announced today.
The junior from Beaufort, S.C. is tied for seventh nationally after recording a mark of 5-10 to win the high jump at the USF Bulls Invitational. Morrison needed only one attempt to clear the height en route to a first-place finish.
Morrison was also fifth in the 100 meters (11.92) and was a member of the 4X100 relay team that finished fourth.
Bethune-Cookman competes in the Pepsi Florida Relays this Friday and Saturday at the University of Florida.
