DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – Bethune-Cookman will be close to home this weekend, competing at the Embry-Riddle Spikes Classic Friday and Saturday.
The meet is Volusia County's largest of the season, featuring both high school and college student-athletes. Along with host Embry-Riddle, B-CU will go up against regional competitors such as Jacksonville, Florida Tech, Keiser, Tampa and a certain school from Tallahassee we're very familiar with (Florida A&M).
B-CU will have 54 competitors, many of whom will use the meet as an opportunity to post a qualifying time for the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference and NCAA in an additional event. Â
