CARRABELLE, Fla. –Bethune-Cookman rallied with a strong Sunday showing to capture the Florida A&M Invitational played at the St. James Bay Golf Club.

BCU shot an even par 288 Sunday, nine strokes better than it did Saturday, to finish with a 585. FAMU shot a 301 today (+13) to finish with a 591.

Marcus Sundlof finished second and one under-par with a 143 (71+72=143).

Teammate
Jake Lane was just behind him in third at one over-par (75+70=145).

Darragh Crawford and
Christian Hovstadius also placed in the top ten. Crawford was sixth (76+71=147) and Hovstadius placed eighth with a 75 each afternoon.

Lucas Jonsson (78+78=156) and
Dante Davis (80+78=158) also finished in the top 25.

BCU bested eight other programs, including Savannah State, Miles College, Hampton, Alabama A&M, UMES, North Carolina Central, and Paine College.

BCU is back on the links at the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference Championship on Sunday, Apr. 21, in Savannah, Ga.
