DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – Rafael Padilla and
Franki Febles had RBI doubles in Bethune-Cookman's 8-3 loss to Jacksonville Wednesday night at Jackie Robinson Ballpark.
The Wildcats (4-5) used those fifth inning doubles to close to 5-3, but Jacksonville (3-6) pulled away with a three-run eighth.
Veteran
Chase DeBonis registered BCU's other RBI on a first-inning fielder's choice that scored
Matthew Garcia and gave the Wildcats an early 1-0 lead.
Nolan Santos took the loss.

Seth Lovell and
Matthew Henson each worked a scoreless inning of relief.
BCU hosts Florida Gulf Coast for a three-game series starting Friday.
