DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. - A pair of Wildcats garned SWAC weekly honors after their outstanding performances in last weekend's Jimmy Carnes Invational, the league office announced Friday.

Tavis Wilson was named Track Athlete of the Week, while Guy Bond was named Field Athlete of the Week.

Wilson finished second overall 60-meter, running a 6.78, which ranks third among all SWAC finishes in the event this season.

Bond enjoyed a strong performance of his own, finishing second in the men's long jump with a 22-10.50, and fourth in the men's high jump with a 6-06.75.

Both runners earn the first weekly honors of their careers.
